Why do gulper eels have a bigger bottom jaw than top ?


Gulper eels have to move slowly to stand the deep sea pressure. Gulper eels live at the bottom of the sea at around 10,000 feet deep it is called the midnight zone.
Gulper eels can unhook their jaw to eat large prey. Gulper eels stomach can be stretched to accommadate large prey. Gulper eels favourite prey is deep sea angler fish,gulper eels are at the top of the deep sea food chain.They can grow up to 4 feet long. By Seamus

Where are starfish on the food web?
Starfish eat a wide variety of shellfish including mussels cockles and paua.
Some others eat sea vegetation like seaweed sea grasses and some eat
coral.To eat starfish wrap their stomach around the prey, pull in their stomachs (with the prey wrapped up in it)and digest their food. Predators are octopus and some small fish.Threats are mostly pollution.
Starfish habitats are tidepools (rockpools) and rocky shores.If a starfishes
predator is holding it by one of its rays it will let its arm fall of and will
grow a new one in its place!That is one of starfishes defences.Starfish can

Where is a Manatee on the Marine food Web?


My inquiry question is "Where is a manatee on the marine food web?". So far I have found that manatees and dudongs are among the only mammals to eat mostly plants. I say mostly because sometimes when manatees are eating sea grass, they sometimes accidentally slurp up snails that are living in the sea grass. This gives the manatees extra protein. Sometimes manatees are mistaken for mermaids! -Chapin
