Where are starfish on the food web?

Where are starfish on the food web?
Starfish eat a wide variety of shellfish including mussels cockles and paua.
Some others eat sea vegetation like seaweed sea grasses and some eat
coral. To eat starfish wrap their stomach around the prey, pull in their stomachs (with the prey wrapped up in it)and digest their food. Predators are octopus and some small fish.Threats are mostly pollution.
Starfish habitats are tidepools (rockpools) and rocky shores. If a starfishes
predator is holding it by one of its rays it will let its arm fall of and will
grow a new one in its place! That is one of starfishes defences.Starfish can
walk over any surface.Even glass!!By Ali
