Why do gulper eels have a bigger bottom jaw than top ?


Gulper eels have to move slowly to stand the deep sea pressure. Gulper eels live at the bottom of the sea at around 10,000 feet deep it is called the midnight zone.
Gulper eels can unhook their jaw to eat large prey. Gulper eels stomach can be stretched to accommadate large prey. Gulper eels favourite prey is deep sea angler fish,gulper eels are at the top of the deep sea food chain.They can grow up to 4 feet long. By Seamus
